COMMUNITY REVIEWS
Gale Sondergaard submitted by willow on August 16, 2015, 7:03am Danish-American actress Gale Sondergaard plays the glowering Eurasian Mrs. Hammond, and appears to have had her eyes taped. She speaks infrequently. She was nominated for an Oscar for her performance. A very dramatic movie featuring British colonial life and racism, and the much more rare look at women's lives in colonial Singapore.
