Good for a Few Laughs submitted by Meginator on June 12, 2021, 10:46am This book offers pretty standard Garfield fare, though it lacks a good week-long theme (a few weeks are themed, but the theming is weak or incomplete) and feels sometimes like Davis is mailing it in. That’s inevitable for a daily strip that runs this long, and it’s still a solid comic. A few gags had me laughing out loud, especially when Odie is involved, and Jon and Garfield’s antagonistic-yet-loving relationship is surprisingly relatable. This isn’t one of the better Garfield collections, but it still offers its fair share of easy laughs.
