Very Un-Muppety submitted by Meginator on August 4, 2018, 10:11pm This book is fine as a retelling of Peter Pan, but as a huge Muppet fan I was completely disappointed, as the writers seem to fundamentally misunderstand who the Muppets are and why they have endured for decades. "Muppet Peter Pan" lacks much of the group's signature humor and (more disastrously) their self-awareness, resulting in an almost offensively petulant Kermit in the title role and a series of uninspired casting decisions and cameos. The other Muppet comics I've read do a much better job of translating them to comics.
