A Relic of a Bygone Era submitted by shira.pilarski on July 18, 2020, 5:19pm This movie is famous for its use of actual minor league hockey players as actors in a story about a failing rural Pennsylvania hockey team that employs an unorthodox method to get fans in the stands: gratuitous violence. It's an enjoyable watch, but needs a content warning for its characters' almost constant use of homophobic slurs. The team's final match results in a no-holds-barred brawl, which only ends when a player performs an on-ice striptease. Definitely a sight to behold!
