friends, outsiders, jealousy submitted by camelsamba on August 28, 2020, 3:50pm Friendship. Jealousy. "The near enemy." Outsiderness. Similarities are woven through three relationships (Madelyn and Hazel, Gamache and Brebeuf, Clara and Peter) yet the different characters react differently.

A number of nitpicky details bothered me, such as:
- They got toxicology results super fast (<24 hrs). The death was on Easter Sunday; would it be possible to have toxicology results on Monday, especially since the lab isn't even in Three Pines?
- Ephedra / ginkgo mixup -- pretty big mistake for such an important detail
- would there be baby robins in early/mid April? Seems early for a northern climate. (One year we had robins nesting outside our window and those hatched in June)

As always, the narrator for this audiobook series is a treat to listen to.
