COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Academy Award Winner submitted by kencza on July 12, 2022, 9:13am Susan Hayward won the award for her performance in this drama based on the real life of Barbara Graham. Her portrayal of a "bad" girl was unique even in noir films at the time. Unlike the usual femme fatale popular at the time she had a darker lifestyle and harder edge than most. It is hard not to empathize with her suffering and execution.
