Outstanding submitted by Meginator on August 9, 2019, 3:41pm This album may be five years old at this point, but you wouldn’t know it just from listening; these songs have a timeless quality to them both musically and lyrically which keeps them sounding good. Bentley tackles love from several angles with equal parts sincerity and good-natured humor, and some of his songs dive deeper into more personal subjects as well. Bentley occasionally borrows from pop, with catchy choruses tailor-built for the radio, but the music never sacrifices its core country sound, making it a good entry point into the genre. Altogether, this group of songs is as solid as they come in modern country music.
