Funky Alt-Rock submitted by Meginator on June 11, 2021, 5:46pm This album is another example of 311’s signature style, which blends elements of alt-rock and reggae with rapped lyrics to create a sound that is at once in your face and laid-back. The band is great at finding and sitting in a groove, and the quicker speed of the vocals makes for a nice, marked contrast to the musical style. It all comes together well here and I really enjoyed it.
