Amazing animal story submitted by andrea on June 15, 2013, 10:42am This is a remarkable look at the work of two women who have dedicated their lives to rescuing orphaned animals. Stories of Daphne Sheldrick's rehabilitation of orphaned elephants in Kenya are interspersed with scenes of Birute Galdikas' work with orphaned orangutans in Borneo. Important information about poaching, habitat loss, and conservation is packed into an entertaining 40 minutes of adorable footage of the orphans. The scene of orphaned elephants kicking around a soccer ball is a special treat!
