Beautiful movie submitted by Marykw21 on August 10, 2017, 5:52pm War horse was a beautiful movie with stunning scenery and amazing cinematography. I did find myself longing to see more character developments and a deeper connection between Joey (the war horse) and everyone he came in contact with. I admit though, that would be hard to pull off with real horses. Even though I found the play version more moving, better developed characters and deeper connections (all the things I found lacking in the film), I still thoroughly enjoyed the movie and would recommend it to all.

I enjoyed some of his other films more, especially "Bridge of Spies", based on true and momentous events, of course "Shindler's List", but even a fairy tale like "Jaws".
