The Twilight Zone: Will The Real Martain Please Stand Up? graphic novel
submitted by Fevvers - STAR473 on July 15, 2016, 11:16pm
Fans of the series and those looking for a contained, paranormal story will find "Will The Real Martain Please Stand Up?" very tempting. The adaptation is worth a quick read, but I was disappointed by the caliber of the execution. The graphic novels have the advantage of not working within a television show budget, but this one failed to really capitalize on that freedom. The pacing feels plodding instead of suspenseful, and the characters feel flat when they should be quirky and distinct.
It's a good story. This book form of it really doesn't compare well with the famous episode, though.
