New York City has become almost uninhabitable when continuous sunlight causes unbearable heat, rationing of water and electricity, and swarms of people leaving, looking for cooler weather further north.

The Twlight Zone: The Midnight Sun graphic novel

This was a solid adaptation of an original Twilight Zone script. I enjoyed the tense story - a slice-of-life peek at an Earth beset by intense heat and a blazing sun that never set. The two main characters are women trying to survive in a New York apartment building with civilization crumbling fast: the landlady and her last remaining tenant, an artist.
It was really cool to read the brief notes about what was changed or added back in from what had to be cut from the original script. The art is pretty good. I especially liked the comic artist's depictions of the character's paintings.
