Well submitted by jibkidder on July 24, 2022, 11:24am I wish I could see the data on how much the band has made from "Fade Into You" TV/Film syncs - must be right up there with "Stayin Alive" - or at least Link Wray's "Rumble". Perhaps deserving so. The song does what many monster hits do - it buries I IV V chords in a form that feels novel. The song also wraps universal emotions in a poetic dressing. Other good work on the album too - few vocalists sound correct with this much reverb.
