Now That's What I Call Music 48 submitted by avrogers1 on July 14, 2017, 2:51pm I really liked this CD. I recognized a lot of songs from the radio. It came out in 2013, so if your looking to hear some radio hits from that year, its well worth the listen.

In Like a Lion, Out Like a Lion submitted by Meginator on August 26, 2020, 4:30pm This compilation begins with a modern classic (Katy Perry’s “Roar”) and never really lets up. This was the period where Pharrell was basically on every song, and it was a wonderful time with a bunch of different influences colliding into a relatively unified, yet surprisingly diverse, pop scene. The dominant vibe is an updated R&B that incorporates variant levels of electronic instrumentation, with a few outliers (yet no pure rap tracks). This is a rare Now That’s What I Call Music compilation that both feels delightfully dated yet still gets the blood pumping, each track a welcome surprise and an invitation to relive a banner period in pop radio.
