Peculiar Yet Dull submitted by KidBlue on July 29, 2021, 1:58pm This is a peculiar film. It is also a very subtly angry film. It reminds me a bit of Metropolis and Modern Times. There is virtually nothing in the way of a plot. It's full of cleverness - no genius, but way, way too much cleverness that doesn't add up to anything. That's the problem with the film. There is no cohesive whole created by the total of it's parts. It is lifeless. It is visually interesting, at times. The film creeps up on you slowly…the trouble is, after an hour it creeps back out and becomes tedious.
