Good Beyond the Singles submitted by Meginator on July 17, 2018, 12:48pm Dan Smith has such an emotional, evocative voice and it gives Bastille much of their unique sound, which is relatively consistent throughout the album. None of the other songs are quite as catchy as "Pompeii", but together they create and sustain a similar mood for a remarkably coherent listening experience that feels complete rather than one-note.
