Hilarious submitted by Sonia on July 2, 2011, 6:58pm So far a movie about kids skipping school has not surpassed this one. An excellent movie for the whole family!

loved it submitted by ekgolden on August 3, 2011, 6:42pm great movie. true classic :)

Classic! submitted by kgolden65 on August 17, 2011, 12:00pm This is certainly a classic that never gets old! No matter how many times I have seen this movie--and it's been a lot--I never tire of the antics. Matthew Broderick does a great job of manipulating the situation and people around him, yet still charming his friends and neighbors. Even his sister comes around in the end. Overall, a great movie!

save ferris submitted by a2sue on July 15, 2014, 11:07pm Ferris Bueller's Day Off is a classic 80s teen movie. I never get tired of it!

A classic submitted by amym on July 26, 2015, 9:43am This movie never gets old. Some of his other movies seem a little dated now, but not this one. It's truly a classic. It's very funny, but actually has substance behind the humor.

Classic comedy submitted by doctorfang on July 26, 2015, 11:33pm This is a classic that stands up to multiple viewings. Still funny. Still endlessly quotable. Highly recommended.

Hilarious submitted by peterflorence on August 20, 2015, 3:58pm So funny!! Great movie!

Enjoyable and clever absurdity submitted by csheilac on July 12, 2016, 10:50pm Summary/Spoiler: Ferris' a smart and sly high schooler who managed to trick his parents into thinking he's at home sick, but his school principal is suspicious and out to prove that he's skipping and hold him back from graduating. Ferris enjoys his day with his friend and girlfriend, driving a fancy car, dining at a fancy restaurant, attending a parade, etc... Too bad his sister caught him and is determined to rat on him!

Classic submitted by msarah on July 7, 2019, 2:44pm Just showed my kids this movie. Such a good one. Little language but overall content was appropriate. The answering machines and intercoms are classic too!

Fun! submitted by TLW1998 on June 25, 2022, 10:54pm What a fun day off for Ferris! Great movie

Enjoyed revisiting this with my kids submitted by jibkidder on July 3, 2022, 8:04am I remember watching this on Comedy Central all the time as a teen. I think it must have been the reason my high school gf drove around blasting Danke Schoen all the time. Now my 9 year old son couldn't love it more. I think he has watched it 10 times.
