Good way to do a prequel submitted by severian on August 23, 2021, 2:37pm Prequels (in my opinion) are usually pretty boring, trying to fill in gaps that were better left to the reader's imagination. At least this one has a purpose: Charles Vess's beautiful illustrations, which hearken back to an even more old fashioned era than the original art of Bone! It's an interesting collaboration and well done, so you probably won't be disappointed if you're a Bone superfan already. Just don't read it before you finish the original series.
