AFX submitted by jibkidder on August 8, 2022, 8:37am When I bought this CD, the day it came out from the WARP website, if I remember correctly, it came with one chocolate coin of AFX hannukah gelt! Wish I had preserved that in the freezer for 20 years! I sort of like how this release sketches the boundaries of a culture, just in what's included - from Gavin Bryars to the Gentle People. My favorite is probably the concluder take on Mike Flowers Pop, which sort of points back to Girl/Boy in its fusion of pleasing cheesy sounds and what, at the least at time, was cutting edge textures.
