Could have been a regular show submitted by beeniepie on August 11, 2013, 1:13pm The story line was surprisingly weak. This could have easily been condensed into a regular two part show instead of a movie.

Felt like a "filler" TV show episode submitted by shumoon on May 25, 2016, 9:03am Perhaps the worst feature film of the franchise.

Great Star Trek movie! submitted by Xris on August 29, 2018, 8:10am We get to revisit one of my favorite series! And the cast is always great! Always choices for Picard to make...

It's Just a Long Episode submitted by jgerman79 on July 24, 2019, 8:27pm This works well as a ST:TNG episode. It is not worthy of being a movie.

Kind of lame, kind of fun. submitted by tbbrown76 on July 6, 2020, 9:58pm You know the characters. You know the special effects. The storyline isn't that special and as far as science fiction goes it's moderately believable. But, it just isn't a special Trek that stands out. Moderate recommended for Trekkers.

Great Culture Creation though submitted by kathscot on June 12, 2021, 11:38am Even though the story's not that strong, the creation of a whole culture was very well done. Worth the view just for that.

Not a Bad Star Trek Movie submitted by ChallngOfTheStrs on August 28, 2021, 1:12am The story starts out like a typical Star Trek episode about not involving Starfleet in a less developed world. Things quickly get complicated when the Enterprise crew discovers a fountain-of-youth quality to the planet. While probably not the strongest movie in the franchise, it has its moments and is at least entertaining enough to keep one engaged. I was a little confused by the actions of Starfleet superiors, but power does crazy things to some people.
