A wonderful start to an amazing tale submitted by Floating.Arm on August 9, 2015, 1:04am Full of great pieces of art and wonderful action, [not to mention the very unique character designs of the shinigami] the story of Lite taking the Death Note for a spin to try to cleanse the world of evil as he sees it is very well thought out and an amazing read. Just reading the first makes me want to see how things keep going and going as the manga progresses.

The relationships between his shinigami and himself, plus the conflicts of Lite verses L, plus we have the whole business of Lite and his father, there's already so much happening before we even hit things off. Let's not even talk about the obvious issues of Lite now having extreme powers that can easily go to one's head and especially in the hands of someone so smart, how dangerous it really is.

If you like stories that have a plot that is like a giant battle of the mind with other human beings as pieces to the 'game board' in a struggle for power, this would be something you'd for sure like. It's very interesting and if you don't want to read it you can always watch the anime!
