It's Very Thom Yorke submitted by Meginator on June 21, 2020, 3:01pm It’s fairly easy to tell that Thom Yorke spearheaded this album, as it has his signature laid-back, intellectual sound, now featuring a mix of electronic and physical instruments. The vocal processing sits well with the slow, chill backgrounds to give the album a sense of depth, but a lot of the tracks don’t really feel like they’re going anywhere. Thom Yorke clearly likes being in his own head, for better or worse. I think he does what he does pretty well, but it often fails to capture my attention, making this album a curiosity for me but not one I plan to return to.
