Rapunzel is raised in a grand villa surrounded by towering walls. Rapunzel dreams of a different mother than Gothel, the woman she calls Mother. She climbs over the wall and finds out the truth. Her real mother, Kate, is a slave in Gothel's gold mine. In this Old West retelling, Rapunzel uses her hair as a lasso and to take on outlaws--including Gothel.

Best Comic Ever submitted by Smiles on June 18, 2011, 5:43pm This book is one I would definitely recommend!! You probably think Rapunzel, this is going to be boring stuff but it isn't!! Sure, it may be about Rapunzel but it has a twist in it. Outlaws, Witches, Trees, and a whole lot of hair!! In this book, Rapunzel meets Jack(from Jack and the Beanstalk) and together, they defeat Rapunzel's evil mother.

Fantastic Art *and* Story submitted by sdunav on August 23, 2015, 4:21pm My kids (and I) both loved this story so much that we had to buy our own copy. Every year or two we all re-read it and it is still as good as it was the first time. Highly recommended.
