this is a cd submitted by unknown on August 21, 2013, 1:37pm If you were to combine all of the best attributes from The Cocteau Twins, Tori Amos, Fiona Apple and Cat Power, you might get an idea of the exquisitive vocals and evocative, moving lyrics on this album. “Winter Fields” is the track that contains some of the most impressive, dreamlike imagery -- “In sub-zero, I can’t stand still, colors of absence flooding the hills”, combined with rich, dense synths and gentle woodwind over a hypnotic, propulsive beat.
