COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Best Movie submitted by rity on July 14, 2012, 1:09pm I think this was the best DC comics movie ever made in Marvel history.

Cheesy - But par for the superhero movie fare submitted by slugwhisperer on August 22, 2013, 9:13pm Never having read a Green Lantern comic, I knew the general story. The movie was somewhat entertaining. The violence was not too overdone. Little in the way of cursing. Family-friendly as these types of movies go.

Nope submitted by DBJC on June 26, 2014, 9:16pm This Green Lantern movie was kind of embarrassing for DC. They had a lot going with their other franchises, but I don't think that it quite on to the monumental films of other heroes. I didn't really like Ryan Reynolds as Green Lantern and kind of wished that they took my time with the story and just about...everything else.

Eh submitted by xiaoli zhang on July 30, 2017, 4:34am It was alright-- if that, but it's pretty bad compared to all the other dc movies

Green Lantern submitted by lstorc on July 28, 2019, 12:24pm Green Lantern is bad in plot, character development, pacing, special effects, and so on.

Not Great submitted by Rumshaker13 on August 3, 2019, 9:11am This was kind of a crazy sci fi movie, had some decent moments but not a great dc movie

The movie is okay submitted by tbbrown76 on August 4, 2019, 11:40pm It doesn't do Justice (see what did there?) to the comic book, which is excellent.
Semi-recommended.

It’s nice but, not the best submitted by Abhidha on July 21, 2021, 9:40pm It does not do Justice, to the comic book.
I still would recommend it.
