Bo, an 11-year-old girl, lives in a remote desert area of New Mexico, with her mother, a free spirit, and her father, who is losing a battle with depression. One day an IRS agent visits the family, to perform an audit, and decides that he would rather stay than return to his job. He becomes a catalyst for major changes and discoveries affecting every member of the family.

Loved It submitted by cre84u on July 16, 2017, 9:15am A little known or long forgotten quirky movie filmed in the beautiful magical remote setting of Taos, NM. Themes running through the movie are a man's temporary bout with depression (Sam Elliott), the magical period of childhood (child actor is fabulous), a story about family dysfunction though they are grounded in the stability of deep abiding love, the glory of creativity and art in the human spirit, the beauty of nature. So glad I watched it again after all these years.
