In this suspenseful romantic thriller, Julia Roberts stars as Laura, a young woman who thinks she's found the man of her dreams in Martin (Patrick Bergin). Only after they are married does she discover the real Martin--compulsive, controlling and dangerously violent. After three years of living in fear and dread, Laura finally escapes, only to have Martin track her down.

Creepy! submitted by willow on August 12, 2016, 9:52pm This movie features a dominating, abusive husband who tracks down Julia Roberts's character after she escapes....basically every woman's worst nightmare. Too realistic in its horror to be a means of escape for most female viewers.

Sleeping with the enemy submitted by avrogers1 on July 9, 2019, 5:56pm This movie starts out super interesting and all of the suspense and action is at the beginning. It kind of fizzles out from there. Its not something I would recommended or watch again.
