Transforming submitted by baifamily2 on July 5, 2011, 7:48pm It is always exciting to see one of your favorite parts of a series being transformed into film and action. The Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire movie transformed the, "Tri,"-Wizard tournament in to film and action for me. How the movie cast displays the 3, different, events, amazes me.

Okay Movie submitted by jarroyo on July 26, 2011, 7:53pm This movie was okay. I'm not super into the Harry Potter movies, so this isn't something that I would choose to watch again. It did not leave me interested in seeing more of these movies.

Lovely submitted by marisal on July 29, 2011, 10:46am This was one of my favorite books and they did a pretty good job turning that into a movie.

awsome submitted by Bigal2212 on August 1, 2011, 5:50pm awsome

Read the books first submitted by ferdoble on August 2, 2011, 5:41pm These are ok. I was hard on them at first because of the corny computer animation and what I thought were bad decisions on what to put in (and I still feel that way). Not to mention that its hard to find good actors in the 10 and 11 range.

But the movies get better and better and all the way to being pretty good. To the point where I now look forward to watching the last of them. Well, not really looking forward to the last of them, it was too sad a book for me to really want to see the movie.

If I can say one thing it’s that you should read the books first. The real magic is in those books, I think that you’ll miss out on a lot if you do it the other way round.

And neither of the actors playing Dumbledoor got it right. I’m not sure if a human could, but neither one of them even got close.

Good, but read the books first submitted by jkl on August 10, 2011, 4:04pm You should really read the books first, it will let you imagine things on you own! I really liked this movie it was one of the better ones in the series, with a great plot (duh), decent special effects and really good acting. Seemed like some of the important parts were missing but it's kinda hard to fit everything in.

good!! submitted by eagles on August 11, 2011, 7:57pm = - D

great movie submitted by jszchen on August 18, 2011, 9:15pm I love all the harry potter films

Awesome submitted by mrsaturns on June 16, 2012, 11:39am This is my favorite of the seven. It gives a story about not just Hogwarts, but also two other magic schools. It also gives Harry a sense of community outside of Hogwarts.

Awesome! submitted by leehannah on June 17, 2012, 6:23pm This movie is probably my favorite movie out of the entire series! I love how the movie is so epic and intense and I couldn't hold still while watching it. It was really adventurous, and there was a lot of action and emotion to it. I was amazed at how well they directed this movie because it was pretty similar to the book.

Yay!!!!!! submitted by morganf on June 18, 2012, 10:41am I agree with yellowdog0809! This is totally the best movie ever!!!!!! awesome!!!

scary submitted by charlottebatra on June 18, 2012, 11:11am scary

Shame :'( submitted by williamc on July 13, 2012, 9:11pm The Goblet of Fire was my favorite Harry Potter book, and my least favorite movie. The movie skips out on A LOT of the stuff that happened in the book (yes, I get that the movie can't be too long and that some parts aren't suited for "screen viewing" (too much narrative and stuff)). I was REALLY disappointed with the movie.

The acting was pretty poor... honestly, there were some scenes in which I didn't know whether Emma Watson was crying or laughing... and why wasn't Moody's eye blue? That was the characteristic that stood out to me the most (even more than his nose)... how hard could it have been to edit an electric blue eye?

Honestly, David Tennant was the only thing Mike Newell did right :)

AWESOME submitted by michaels on July 31, 2012, 7:17pm AWESOME MOVIE

Okay submitted by odiaok on June 21, 2013, 8:23am This movie is okay. I wasn't my favorite

Great submitted by Smiles on June 27, 2013, 10:07pm This movie was definitely my favorite out of the series. If other comments say otherwise, IGNORE THEM. :D It was really good and suspenseful. Obviously, I really liked the book so I may be slightly biased but the movie was still amazing no matter how you look at it!

AWESOME submitted by iamnotonfire on July 6, 2013, 8:16pm MOST AWESOME MOVIE EVER.

ok submitted by Lizzy on August 9, 2013, 4:55pm this movie was ok, but the special effects were awful. a lot of details that should have been included were left out.

Good movie submitted by rlmorgan on August 22, 2013, 7:03pm Really a good movie, and you can tell the series is growing up. But if you really want to understand everything read the books first.

HP4 submitted by SBNB on June 24, 2014, 1:01pm I liked this movie. It's not my favorite Harry Potter film, but it's probably in the top half.

Weasleys submitted by walbridge602 on July 5, 2014, 11:43am Ron, Fred, and, George all need hair cuts

I liked it submitted by ifechijie on June 19, 2015, 6:22pm I thought it was pretty good. It introduced Voldemort and was scary, fun and sad.

good submitted by yslee on June 29, 2015, 8:57pm it was really cool to see how the book and movie compared.
i really liked it:)

I've watched it 5 times! submitted by kjshaffer on July 19, 2015, 8:29am This movie is so good. You should watch the DVD extras too. It's fun to see how they made the movie.

good submitted by Thomas Gibb-Randall on August 21, 2015, 8:12am great

Good adaptation submitted by kathscot on June 27, 2016, 10:24am Good adaptation of the book. Good acting.

Great submitted by peterflorence on June 29, 2016, 2:33pm This is a very good movie, but kind of creepy at the end.

Great submitted by lauradu_palmer on July 13, 2016, 7:53pm A great movie with talented actors and actresses.

Goblet of Fire submitted by staceylbrockman on July 16, 2016, 1:36pm One of the best books/movies in the series

HP submitted by tbbrown76 on July 23, 2016, 9:26pm Good to see all the characters, again. Hermoine is a strong female character and is really the leader.
TBB

Long hair submitted by chioma on June 29, 2017, 2:58pm I know this has nothing to do with the movie itself, which in my opinion I though was a pretty gook remake of the book (even though various/many parts were left out), but I really hate this long hair phase that was going on in all of the guy characters. Fred and Georeg did not look to great with chin length hair in my opinion!

Nice submitted by lianayz on July 3, 2017, 11:34am The movie and book are different, but in a good way.

Mid-Potter submitted by Meginator on July 12, 2017, 10:59am This movie does a good job of navigating the transition between the relatively lighter tone of the earlier Harry Potter films and the darker themes that emerge at the end of this film. This film feels a bit rushed in places because of various cuts to the corresponding book, which is one of the larger volumes in the series, and I think that these cuts create a lack of context for some of the plot points. This film all right in its technical aspects, but as a whole it is not as strong as either Prisoner of Azkaban or Order of the Phoenix; some of the story's more interesting nuances are missing here.

Awesome!! submitted by accountsfpd on August 12, 2017, 10:08am Harry Potter is the best! I would totally recommend to anyone!

harrypotter andteh gobletof fire submitted by Jen Sopoci on June 21, 2018, 10:25am it was a great movie with action, violence and much more.

Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire submitted by lstorc on August 6, 2018, 12:20am Still amazing despite many cuts from the book.

Great submitted by anacoluthon on August 20, 2018, 1:31am It was really fun to see the World Cup and Triwizard Tournament come to life! Some goofy haircuts, though.

A Good Time! submitted by elizabeth mayhew on August 23, 2018, 1:33am The start of the more serious bits in the series! A great movie adaptation, with well-done fleshed out enviroments! It really feels like the places shown are real, which is a BIG point in it's favor, especially with the underwater scene.

Great addition to the series! submitted by Xris on August 26, 2018, 1:05am It's eye-opening that there are other magical schools in the world and that they can join together for the Tri-Wizard Cup. So sad at the end. But I'm really sad that they didn't make this into two movies, because I missed all the great stuff from the Quidditch World Cup that was in the book.
