Great Stuff submitted by Meginator on July 17, 2011, 10:00pm I don't recall how I heard of this band or how this CD ended up on my wishlist, but I'm glad that I did and it did. As someone for whom pure Southern fried country is still a bit inaccessible (but I'm working on it), I find groups around the boundaries quite interesting; Lone Justice is certainly one of those groups. This CD spans their career and thus includes within it a range of different styles, with the primary variable between them being the country to rock ratio within each individual song. Despite the variation between tracks, I felt that the disc held together very well as a whole, feeling more like a distinctive release than a retrospective, and I would encourage fans of rock and country along the borderlands to take a look at this album. The rhythms are catchy and the fusion is good; I spy a solid career from some talented musicians.
