A Must for Classic Movie Fans submitted by hathaway1066 on July 31, 2013, 2:52pm just dropping this title into conversation will give you instant cred with the classic movie fans set, but even better if you've actually seen it--and doing so will be a fun 97 min, because, hey, it's a Hitchcock, so it's gotta be good, right?

Great Classic Suspense Film submitted by Meginator on August 27, 2022, 5:40pm This suspense classic makes fine use of the gaslighting trope to call a young woman’s (and, for a while there, the viewer’s) own senses and recollections into question, all while spinning up a decent thriller in the claustrophobic closed environment that a train provides. Hitchcock weaves together a strange but effective blend of mystery, romantic comedy, and thrills, held together by a fantastic cast and enough twists that the final configuration of events retains an element of surprise even when you think you see it coming. Witty, fun, and yet still suspenseful and tense, this film has a unique tone even today.
