Read or Listen submitted by sushai on July 25, 2017, 8:28pm I read the book and then a year or so later listened to it on CD on a trip. Either way, it's a great read. Bryson's humor makes you think a trip to Antarctica will certainly result in your death from any of the odd creatures on land and sea, but he also packs it full of people and places and paints a picture of a lovely land. I wish he'd do another book of some of Australia's coastal regions, too.
