The Watson's go to Birmingham submitted by leehannah on June 16, 2012, 9:19pm Reading this book really made me think about what life was like in the older days and compare it with the life that I'm living right now. There were a lot of differences, but some similarities. I really enjoyed it because it was a happy, sad, and an emotional book. It definitely made me feel like I was spoiled compared to the Watson's in so many ways.
Great Book

This book is one of the best books I ever read and the book was amazing.
It wrote about the life of African Americans who are living Michigan.
I really enjoyed it, laugh, cry, and shout with the story.
I first read this book in Language Art class in school and that's how I met this book.
I bought it, and read it over and over again.
It's really touching and I was so impressed.
