Satisfying Pop EDM submitted by Meginator on August 22, 2022, 10:20am This album is split into two parts: original songs (“Fire”) and remixes (“Ice”), with the latter seemingly intended to fall on the more chill-out end of the spectrum. The effect works in part, but not entirely, although the remixes do consistently provide a genuine alternate perspective on the original tracks (which isn’t always a given with remixes, especially when they are by the original artist). Altogether, this is a satisfying EDM album on the pop end of the spectrum, with few experimental elements but plenty of satisfying grooves and melodies that come together well.
