COMMUNITY REVIEWS

good movie submitted by codyson159 on July 9, 2011, 12:28pm this is a pretty good movie

Hometown Movie submitted by osbornk on July 17, 2011, 9:51am Have fun spotting the Ann Arbor scenery in this movie. Most of the action takes place in the very recognizable Clarion Inn on Jackson Road. This was ultimately an uplifting movie, especially if you stick around for the insurance agency ads at the end. However, if you are easily offended by scatological humor, you will not be amused.

C- submitted by markwells on July 27, 2011, 9:15pm Movies about Cedar Rapids should stay in Cedar Rapids. Cedar Rapids makes Vegas look like the Vatican. I have nothing against movies about amoral people so long as they make me laugh. These folks didn't.

ok submitted by Ele Z. on July 29, 2011, 9:34am its a good movie, some parts just sad.

blah submitted by manz on September 13, 2011, 11:13am Sure, it had some funny moments, the comedic actors were good, and it was filmed here. But overall I'd say this is a flop. Like it tried too hard to be funny, but ended up being boring.

The best part was Isiah Whitlock, Jr.'s tiny scene where he broke up a party by using some of Omar's gangsta lines (from The Wire.) Then later plugged The Wire, which he, of course, acted in. (Clay Davis, yo!) Interestingly, "Whitlock has said that the references to the series were written in before he became involved in Cedar Rapids."

Funny Stuff submitted by ima_rom on July 15, 2012, 5:05am I thought this was a whole lot of funny.
