Should have been great submitted by FordAlpha on August 13, 2019, 11:13am I admire Yo-Yo Ma, Stuart Duncan, Edgar Meyer, and Chris Thile tremendously, and I've enjoyed a lot of their individual and collective work. I like bluegrass music and expected this celebrated collaboration to be terrific. I guess my expectations were just too high. Most of the tracks here don't quite have the spirited feel and liveliness that I'm looking for in a bluegrass album. They are too polished.
