COMMUNITY REVIEWS

The Road to EPICNESS submitted by DBJC on June 14, 2014, 8:47am This is label as Syphonic, and it should be. Because this music is EPIC. I suppose that's the whole point of their group, which is to create trailer music. Yep, that's what it is. So if you've seen a trailer for a movie (action, drama, mystery, whatever) you've probably heard a track by Two Steps from Hell. Let's see..."Freedom Fighters" was featured in the second trailer for the 2009 Star Trek movie, "Moving Mountains" was featured in a New Moon trailer, "Protectors of the Earth" was used in the Inkheart trailer. And, the HALO team also used "Undying Love" in one of their videos. It was about Bungie leaving the HALO franchise or something like that. If you're a fan of E.S. Posthumus, then becoming a fan of Two Steps from Hell is not going to be a hard thing to do. Of course, more of their tracks have been featured in other movie trailers, but I'm limiting the examples to the ones on this CD. Because this is a review for...this CD. Anyway, I think that Thomas Bergersen and Nick Phoenix make a great team as they rev up their epic music motors. Now, this album is completely INSTRUMENTAL. Which means that you cannot find lyrics to any of these tracks. But that shouldn't matter, right? 4.5/5 stars!!
