COMMUNITY REVIEWS
great writing, kind of sick relationship submitted by 21621031390949 on August 18, 2017, 8:15pm Ann Patchett is a wonderful writer and in this recorded version, she also reads well. This is a memoir really, of her relationship with Lucy Grealy, author of "Autobiography of a Face." The two became friends while at the Iowa Writers Workshop just after college, and they developed a deep and lasting relationship. Sadly, Lucy was one sick puppy emotionally. As the book advanced, I found myself liking her less and less, and increasingly disturbed by the codependency of their relationship.
