Will Morrison and Daniel Bloom were the best of friends. They grew up together, went to the same schools, liked the same records, and loved the same girls. Daniel was Will's best man at his wedding to Maggie Claire. Then one day Will disappeared without a word. Half a decade later he resurfaces and sets off a tsunami of unforeseeable events.

a fine film submitted by manz on September 19, 2011, 9:40am I enjoyed this movie. I found Lukas Haas' character a bit annoying, but he charmed me in the end. It was a cute little love triangle in a beautiful lakeside cabin setting. I liked the fact that Daniel's parents were also involved.

Two things:
- Every action and inaction does have consequence.
- The bond of friendship is amazing.

Scenery beautiful, plot not so much submitted by nvrsaynvr on July 4, 2012, 1:41am Implausible storyline seems contrived to show off the quaint cabin. Will appears after 5 years, but we never learn why. Daniel and Maggie apparently able to drop everything in their lives at a moment's notice to fly up to Canada and stay for endless days of drama. I didn't find myself identifying or caring about any of the characters. The producers should have used the cabin and endlessly adorable props as a backdrop for a Pottery Barn catalog and left it at that.
