Someone Needs to Write a Useful Review submitted by carcarcar on July 15, 2012, 5:41pm All of these other reviews SUCK. I've been a fan of Beyonce for years. You can tell on this album that she is maturing, she's still developing her style & trying out new things. There are a few stand out songs on this album & a few duds. It's not as solid as I Am Sasha Fierce, but it has more diversity & stylistic changes. Particularly, 1+1, Countdown, & I Care are excellent. The singles they've been playing off the CD aren't even my favorites! One thing that is a bit repetitive is that Beyonce sings a lot about how awesome her man is (Jay Z). Jay Z is pretty awesome but it gets old. This album is definitely worth listening to & owning but not my favorite. I'm excited to see where Beyonce goes from here, now that she's a mother.
