difficult read submitted by El Wright on July 9, 2010, 9:46am I love hardy but I had a hard time getting through this book. though the character of Jude was interesting the female lead I foiund tedious and I had no sympathy fo their incestouis love affair. the climaxing scene with the death of Judes children was brutal and left me scarred. Not for the faint of heart. Read far from the madding cowd. it's a hit
