Bringing back memories submitted by jtmaxwell on July 10, 2011, 6:00pm This album is one for me that will always transport me back to high school. This was one of those albums I'd sit and listen to with my friends and feel understood. Songs like Jumper and Semi-Charmed Life still get stuck in my head, and it's one of those disks you can put it and just hit play.

Nostalgia submitted by Enzy on June 3, 2013, 12:36pm Talk about an album that is wrought with emotion and catchy tunes. This is 90’s rock at its best. The interesting guitar chords combined with emotional and slightly tormented lyrics was perfect for teenagers in the 90’s to relate to. My personal favorite s are not the super popular ones like “Jumper” and “Semi-Charmed Life” or even the cult classic “Motorcycle Drive By” (really, I cannot remember a bonfire in high school where this did not come up in a sing-a-long). The tracks that I find myself listening to over and over again are “Narcolepsy” and “Thanks a Lot.” Really though, there is not a song on this album that I do not enjoy. This is a go-to summer album for me and there is nothing quite like walking around downtown and having “Third Eye Blind” be your soundtrack.

90s Pop Rock Encapsulated submitted by Meginator on August 20, 2021, 7:56pm Something about Third Eye Blind’s style encapsulates late-90s pop rock so perfectly, and though it’s hard to say what, exactly, it is, this album is full of it. With surprisingly dark lyrics for an outfit that found huge success across top-40 radio, Third Eye Blind perfectly straddles the line between alternative rock and pop rock; their music has enough of an edge to set it apart yet it remains compelling to a wide audience. Come for the familiar radio hits you’ve been singing for 20 years, stay for the filler tracks that are just as good.
