Bad Mixing submitted by Meginator on August 24, 2017, 9:46am I love Green Day, but this isn't the best showcase of their work. The song selection is pretty good and spans most of their career, including a bunch of hits and songs that are more familiar to long-time fans, but the sound quality is horrible. I understand that getting the crowd's involvement is part of what sets a live album apart from a studio recording, but the crowd is so loud here that it muddles the overall sound and makes it difficult to hear the band clearly at all. This may be closer to the actual concert experience, but that's not necessarily a good thing as it's implemented here.
