Hard-driving And High Quality submitted by krogers on June 21, 2019, 9:55am This is categorized as rock, but at points in the first half it could almost be metal, with a female lead singer. Powerful, evocative, high-quality vocals with lyrics to match and solid guitar work to back her up. I was ready to say that the guitar is matched evenly with the vocals, but in the second half of the album the guitar work takes a definite second seat. Good instrumentation overall, including use of piano and violins in an album that is definitely on the hard side of hard rock overall. Definitely repeatable.
