ok submitted by eric keefauver on June 6, 2011, 10:57am beautifully acted but fell short with story...complex character in Felix Bush who was portrayed wonderfully by Duvall, but the short arc of the story wasn't enough to tell us all about Felix Bush who required a much broader "stroke of the cinematic brush" compared to the smallish arc (brush stroke" this story was painted with

a nice low-key film submitted by manz on July 7, 2011, 10:47am I really enjoyed the film. The portrayals by Duvall and Murray are wonderful. The film reminded me of old poet hermits- bearded, wise, fierce, with a deep past, and secretly soft hearted.

It was interesting to watch this bitter old man plan his own funeral and to hold a lottery so that people would come. It's a dark and haunting thought.

And it's Bill Murray. I mean, Bill Murray. :)
