COMMUNITY REVIEWS

a laugh out loud film! submitted by manz on January 11, 2011, 12:34pm This film is wonderful. Based on the 2nd book in Roddy Doyle's Dublin based "Barrytown Trilogy" (including The Commitments and The Van), The Snapper is a fabulous book and this makes for an entertaining film adaptation.

I really enjoyed watching the relationship of the expectant Sharon and her father. Her father is such an enjoyable character- tough on the outside, total softie on the inside. Watching the wackiness of their family and the town is quite hilarious in this funny and touching film.
