Goodbye Lullaby submitted by Varshini on July 7, 2019, 11:31pm "Everybody Hurts" was definitely my favorite song on this album. Great CD.

Lacks Her Usual Spark submitted by Meginator on August 23, 2020, 6:24pm This album is a bit of a departure from Avril Lavigne’s previous efforts, lacking some of the pop-punk influence that characterized her previous albums and settling more for broadly appealing pop, often in a slower, more personal register. Without a musical edge, some of the ostensibly pointed lyrics fail to land, even though the lyrical content is, as a whole, more mature and introspective. Overall, this album felt one-note to me, without enough internal variety to distinguish its tracks from one another and without the spark that usually makes Lavigne stand out from the crowded pop scene.
