cute pups, meh film submitted by manz on May 19, 2011, 8:47am A slow moving little movie, with sparse dialog and cute dogs. Jeff Bridges does a fine job as Jon Katz, a depressed writer with writer's block, who takes an extended break from his work and family to take care of a new (out-of-of control) border collie that falls into his lap. Katz ends up figuring out that it's actually his own self that needs changing.

I wanted more from this movie. I exepected something more from the end, then the credits rolled.

I can see how the book would have been better.
