A good place to begin with Caroline Myss submitted by twilkerson on November 6, 2007, 8:31pm As suggested, I began my journey with Caroline Myss by listening to this series. I highly recommend it. It is interesting on multiple levels including: prgamatic and easy to understand introduction to the chakra system of energy "transformers"; the assimilation of various religious traditions within the chakra system; and the introduction to the concepts of energy analysis in a no-nonsense way. If you want more, I highly recommend the 2 additionals series of Energy Anatomy CDs that delve deeper and wider. They are full of food for thought and practical tips.

A Good Overview submitted by kimberlina on July 21, 2011, 10:19am I was looking for an overview of the chakra system. This book covers that, but also delved into comparing it to the Sacraments and the Kabbalah. As a beginner, I found it a little difficult to try to assimilate all three together.
