Mystery at Yosemite

I've really liked some of Barr's mysteries, others were so-so for me. In this one, her park ranger protagonist is undercover (as a waitress) in Yosemite.
"High Country" didn't pack the emotional punch of some Barr's other mysteries, but it did keep me reading. Her descriptions of the park service and a look behind the scenes at a big national park is the best part of the book - it's a neat look at comfort, convenience and tourism vs. "nature".
