A great listen submitted by chloelovellroot on July 25, 2011, 3:53pm Very funny stuff, as usual... somehow listening to David Sedaris is even funnier than reading his stuff. Many of the excerpts have been on NPR before, but it's still a lot of fun, especially for a dull drive.

Made a trip fly by! submitted by crazypockets on June 21, 2013, 2:44pm My sister and I listened to this on a trip up north, and it was her first major exposure to David Sedaris. We both couldn't stop laughing. This was even better with him reading in front of a live audience because you got to hear the interaction between the two.

Perfect for your commute submitted by beeniepie on August 29, 2014, 9:55pm I love reading David Sedaris books almost as much as I enjoy listening to David Sedaris tell his stories. He's narcissistic, but so self-aware of it, that he's still able to find the connective heart of each of his stories. One minute I'm laughing out loud, and the next I'm about to cry. I love listening to Sedaris audiobooks, but nothing compares to a live David Sedaris performance. Repeat after me and Six to eight black men are by far the funniest of the setlist.

hilarious submitted by mickplu on July 21, 2016, 9:22pm You'll wish you were in the audience!

so funny submitted by KOH on August 30, 2017, 9:20pm He's awesome live!
